KIRKLAND, WA –
A man convicted of crashing into an innocent driver during a road rage/drunken driving incident last year was sentenced to four years in prison Friday, the maximum under state guidelines.
Patrick Rexroat was angry after being cut off by a car on Interstate 405 last July, and drunk with a blood-alcohol level three times the legal limit, prosecutors said. He sped off an exit in Kirkland and slammed into a car being driven by Steve Lacey, who was driving home after running errands at Costco. Lacey was killed instantly.
