6th person arrested in WSP trooper’s slaying
BREMERTON, Wash. — A sixth person was arrested Monday in connecting with last week’s shooting death of Washington State Patrol Trooper Tony Radulescu, the Kitsap County Sheriff’s Office said. That person, who was arrested at 11 a.m. on Monday, is a 43-year-old South Kitsap man. Like the five others arrested Thursday’s shooting, he is accused of rendering criminal assistance to Josh Blake, then man accused of shooting and killing Radulescu. PORT ORCHARD, Wash. – (Apr 26, 2012) One of the people charged with rendering criminal assistance in the shooting death of a Washington state trooper has been sentenced in Kitsap County.
A judge threw out a plea deal between Steven Michael Banks and prosecutors and sentenced him Wednesday to a year in jail.
He’s one of sixth people charged with helping Joshua Blake in February after he shot Trooper Tony Radulescu during a traffic stop near Gorst.
